CHOCOLATE CREPES

 

 

INGREDIENTS:
▪️1/2 cup flour

▪️1/4 cup cacao powder
▪️1 + 1/2 cups milk
▪️2 eggs
▪️1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted or 1/3 cup apple puree
▪️1 tsp vanilla extract
▪️1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
▪️Your favourite nut butter
*optional - fruit
*optional - powdered sugar

METHOD:
1. In a bowl mix together the wet ingredients.
2. Add the flour and mix, then add the cacao powder and keep mixing.
3. On a medium heat add a nonstick pan with a bit of oil or spray.
4. Pour the batter onto the pan using ¼ of a cup for each scoop.
5. Tilt the pan and rotate it with a circular motion to help the batter spread evenly.
6. Cook the crepe a few seconds on each side
7. Spread your nut butter and fold it into a triangle shape.
8. Drizzle honey and powdered sugar and top with fruit.
