HEALTHY KWAREZIMAL
INGREDIENTS:
▪️1 cup roasted blanched almonds
▪️1 cup flour
▪️1 cup almond flour
▪️2 tbsp brown sugar
▪️1 tsp mixed spices
▪️1 tsp cinnamon
▪️1 tbsp maple syrup/ honey
▪️1/3 cup Munch A Bunch™ chocolate orange almond butter (or almond butter)
▪️Lemon and orange zest
▪️3 tbsp water
METHOD:
1. Pre-heat oven to 180.
2. In a blender, add the flour, almond flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and mixed spice and blend well.
3. Add the maple syrup, nut butter, zest and water and blend again until a dough forms.
4. Add a bit of flour and knead until smooth.
5. Cut into pieces and flatten them using your hands.
6. Make a cris- cross on each piece and bake for 15-20 minutes.
7. Let them cool for a few minutes and brush with maple syrup or honey and sprinkle with crushed almonds.
